Katy Kat Eye Mascara in Black and Katy Kat Matte Lipstick in Kitty Purry

I received wonderful Cover Girl Katy Kat Collection Mascara in Black and Katy Kat Matte Lipstick in Kitty Purry for free to review from BzzAgent campaign. Thank you so much for this amazing opportunity.

First I have to tell that I fell in love with the mascara and the lipstick! The mascara is so great, no clumping at all! It gives so much volume and doesn't "glue" my eyelashes at all.

The lipstick has an amazing texture, it's matte but not drying at all. Very often I used matte lipsticks which are quite drying but this one is even moisturizing. Love that! And the colour is so beautiful - I was afraid it would "wash off" my face but no! It is so flattering!

I would recommend Katy Kat Eye Mascara and Katy Kat matte lipstick to all my relatives and friends. Both the mascara and the lipstick have an amazing quality, and the prices are so affordable!

Cover Girl tru Blend liquid makeup - amazing foundation!

I heard many good things about Cover Girl Tru Blend foundation. When I received this foundation for free from BzzAgent, I was very excited to try that.

First I want to tell you, it is really wonderful foundation! I got in the shade l1, and when I put that on my face, it blended so nicely, so smoothly that it felt as if I don't have anything on my face.

Tru Blend is also moisturizing foundation but yet not greasy at all. The fact which I love so much because it's pretty difficult to find a moisturizing foundation which doesn't leave greasy streaks on your face.

I already recommended this foundation to all my friends and relatives, it's indeed an amazing foundation!

And here is the website from where I got this wonderful foundation for free:

Finally I discovered organic cosmetics which I fell in love with! YOUNIQUE!

I tried a great number of make up products, organic or non-organic for sensitive skin, but, honestly, was not satisfied at all. Yes, my skin is sensitive, and yes, there are numerous products claiming made just for sensitive skin. But, alas, neither drug store, relatively affordable cosmetics, nor more expensive make up products did work in harmony with my facial skin.

But one day I came across to organic cosmetics which truly intrigued me. I saw on the facebook Younique and decided to try that. I saw on the Younique website that they have a wide range of cosmetic products, all organic and free of parabens, oil and synthetic fragrances. Now that's what I wanted always to use, especially free of synthetic scents because a scent of make up "drives me crazy"!

They also have a very interesting and ,yes, very unique product - Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes, also, of course, natural. I was very eager to try that along with Younique eye shadows, blushes and concealers.

So I was sent Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes (by the way, packaged very neatly in a box) and samples of Sexy, Flirty and Fiesty eye shadows, Fresh, Fabulous and Frisky concealers, and Sweet blush.
My first impression after using thew samples was very positive. Yes, they don't have that "pushy" make up fragrance which, generally, make up products have. And they were so soft and gentle to my skin. I simply loved them!

And Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes - that is a WONDERFUL duo! This duo consists of Moodstruck Transplanting Gel and Moodstruck Natural Fibers. First I applied the gel, and then natural fibers. They lengthened my lashes and made them thick but made that in such a soft and natural way that it seemed I didn't apply any make up. And I didn't have any heavy feeling anymore (which I always did because of mascara).

Indeed, Younique make up products are different. They are truly organic and so gentle to sensitive skin. I speak that from my own experience. Try Younique, you'll love that!

You can buy Younique from this website:

Iced Coffee, please... to my home... when I read Coelho...

I received free International Delight Iced Coffee coupons from BzzAgent as a member of BzzAgent site and a participant of BzzCampaign for International Delight. Thank you very much!

First I have to tell that at first I was a little bit skeptical that an iced coffee in a carton box can have as a delicious taste as a cup of iced coffee from a coffee shop. Then I redeemed my first coupon for an International Delight Iced Coffee in Mocha. I have to confess, I was wrong. Indeed, this iced coffee is very delicious with a right amount of coffee, milk and sugar. You can feel a refreshing taste of coffee whereas milk gives that more smooth taste. And sugar is not much, just the right amount not to feel the bitter taste of coffee (but not to feel "cotton candy" taste of sugar as well).

Then I had Caramel Macchiato, and I was very glad, too, that Caramel wasn't too sweet as well. We all know that caramel, in general, tends to be sweet. But International Delight could make an iced coffee with Caramel which tastes as good as coffee with a splendid touch of caramel. Simply delicious.

Vanilla taste was also good, especially that I just love vanilla. This one reminded me French Vanilla as an iced coffee.

Yes, I would recommend International Delight Iced Coffee to all my friends. I love that! It is really good and also very affordable. Drink at your own convenience at home and be simply amazed by all the delicious taste of that!

You can visit International Delight Iced Coffee facebook page here:

https://www.facebook.com/InternationalDelightCanada

Oh, yes, you can also join BzzAgent and participate in wonderful campaigns. It's totally free, and you'll have lots of fun and so great free products from BzzAgent.

This Scarlet Cord. The Love Story of Rahab by Joan Wolf

I read a great number of historical books, some of them were great, some - good, but this one I won't be afraid of calling a masterpiece!

Joan Wolf delivers a story of Rahab in a gracious and sophisticated manner. She tells Rahab's love story from another point of view which makes us believe in a true and naive nature of that brave woman.

Amazon.com site gives a brief plot of the book:

"Within one of the Old Testament’s most famous battles lies one of the most tender love stories.

Hidden within the battle of Jericho is the story of Rahab, a beautiful and brave young Canaanite woman who aided the Israelites by hanging a piece of scarlet cord from a window. This act of faith changed her life by placing her in the genealogy of Christ.

Rahab is the youngest daughter of a Canaanite farmer, taken to Jericho for the pagan New Year so her father can find her a wealthy spouse. Sala, the Israelite boy who had once saved her from being kidnapped, is also in Jericho. When the two young people meet again they admit their love for one another, but their different religions make marriage impossible.

Their love story plays out against the background of Jericho’s pagan rites. It is only when the One True God of Israel comes into Rahab’s life—and she realizes what He is calling her to do—that she and Sala can come together.

Witness Rahab as a young woman determined to find her destiny as she follows her heart toward true love . . . and the One True God." (http://www.amazon.com/This-Scarlet-Cord-Story-ebook/dp/B007D1TNMA)

Indeed, not every person, and especially a woman in those ancient ages, when they were highly discriminated, would change his (her) religion in the name of love. Rahab found true love, and true God. And those almighty essences - Love and God, saved not only her, but all her relatives. She truly deserves to be admired by for her immense courage of understanding and admitting only One God who led her through all the hardships.

Sala, her true love, surely noticed her huge difference from all other women he had met in his life. And he was so right by trusting her and leading his nation to the victory.

I read and gave my review of a complimentary copy of This Scarlet Cord. The Love Story of Rahab by Joan Wolf which was provided me by http://www.booksneeze.com.

Love Lifted Me by Sara Evans with Rachel Hauck

"A fresh start is a gift. So is having a hand to hold.

Jade and Max share a deep love, though revelations from his past have recently shaken their marriage. And Jade is completely smitten with Max's little son, Asa, whom she is now raising as her own. Their blended family brings her a joy she's never known. But there is one more secret to be uncovered. One that will impact them all.

Max is doing his best to "man-up" and prove himself worthy of Jade's devotion. As well as that of his young son. It seems like life in Whisper Hollow, Tennessee, will pick up where it left off until Max is faced with an unusual opportunity-leave his family's law firm to coach high-school football in Texas.

Realizing a fresh start will bring healing to their marriage, Jade takes the leap of faith and moves with him and baby Asa, bidding good-bye to her beloved Blue Umbrella shop.

The new beginning in quaint Colby, Texas, is soon sullied when Max discovers the high-school program isn't all it seemed. While Max struggles to rebuild a once glorious football team, Jade wrestles with news that could break Max's heart and change their lives forever." (Amazon.com - http://www.amazon.com/Love-Lifted-Me-Songbird-Novel/dp/1595544917)

The story is wonderful and so emotional. You laugh and even cry with Jade. You hate and love Max. And their love to Asa is so beautiful!

They stay in the place where their heart is, where they belong to. No, not a lawyer office, and not a Blue Umbrella shop, but where their faith leads to.

Sara Evans inspires her readers to have a deep belief in God and people whom you love. In this book trust is the main leading "vehicle" of the story. Secrets cannot be kept from the one you love, and hardships can be overcome if you trust God and the person you love.

The main characters are well introduced but the development is a little undone. Maybe there should be more inside "riding" in their thoughts.

Also I wish Asa's character would be more introduced. This little boy played one of the main roles in changing Jade's and Max's life but yet we so little of him (he had routine habits, and...). I wish we could come closer to his thoughts, to his feelings about the people whom he loves and who love him.

The book is very easy to read, no burdens of sophisticated lines. But yet it's too easy. The lack of more vivid characters, or, I would say, the lack of descriptions of characters, makes the book to be left in the stage of bud. It needs to have more "rain" to be bloomed, more paintings, more colours.

Firmoo! Beauty and Style! Confirmed!

When I read about their great promotion for free glasses for bloggers for a review exchange, I was a little bit skeptical at first. I knew very little about Firmoo, never applied for the glasses from them, and so I didn't know anything about a quality of their glasses. Besides, I have sensitive eyes, and choosing the sunglasses which would be relaxing, not irritating for my eyes, is quite difficult, especially from a website, without trying on.

But nevertheless, my curiosity defeted my skeptical thoughts, and so I gave a try. I applied for Firmoo free glasses promotion, and was nicley surprised! Very soon surprised! My sunglasses arrived in 10 days from China (!) by registered mail. The packaging was just amazing, my glasses were "sitting" safely in the plastic case. Firmoo also provided me with a nice, black pouch and a small screwdriver with extra screws. So my first impression about Firmoo was very good!

And now the quality. So many times I saw sunglasses, which seem to be of a good quality from the first sight, but when you hold them, and try on, they are just flimsy. But I have to say, the quality of Firmoo sunglasses I received, in one word - perfect! The material of the sunglasses is very sturdy. I've been wearing them about a week since I received them, and they do protect my eyes from the sun, and my eyes feel so relaxing, no itchiness, no irritation, and no headaches!

Bravo Firmoo! You could assure me that ordering glasses from a website can be as trustful as ordering in person. Oh, and I also loved a great feature of Firmoo website - you can upload your picure and see if the glasses fit you right.

So am I skeptical now? Of course, not! And more than that. I recommended Firmoo to all my friends. And you can also try Firmoo glasses ... for free! Yes, for free, even if you are not a blogger. Here is their website.

http://www.firmoo.com/

And from here you can apply for free glasses if you have a blog. The promotion is still on, so hurry up, that's indeed a great opportunity!

Burt's Bees Cares About Our Sensitive Skin

Having a very sensitive skin I was very excited when I received Sensitive Facial Cleanser and Sensitive Daily Moisturizer from Burt's Bees and BzzAgent . I am BzzAgent Anayis and was selected and invited to participate in Burt's Bees Campaign.

So I received a package which contained a Burt's Bees Sensitive Facial Cleanser, a Burt's Bees Sensitive Daily Moisturizing Cream, 10 samples of the cream to share with my friends, and an official guide about Burt's Bees Campaign with information about Burt's Bees products.

I am using the cleanser and the cream daily and have to tell you that I totally love these products.

The Sensitive Facial Cleanser didn't irritate my facial skin at all, and didn't cause any redness (which sometimes some cleansers do to my face). I love natural ingredients of the cleanser:

Cotton Extact - for smooth and soft skin

Quillaja - provides a natural foaming lather

Yucca - a desert plant high in saponins, which have traditionally been used in cleansing

The cleanser cleans my face very gently leaving that not dry my very soft and smooth.

I use the Sensitive Daily Moisturizer either alone or under make up. I can't say that the texture is light but it is definitely not heavy (even for sensitive and dry skin I don't like those heavy creams). The cream absorbs into my skin quite quickly and moisturizes my skin so well. It also does not have fragrance (very good feature, especially for a sensitive skin:). And it does not clog pores: I have some pores on my face and totally love that feature of Burt's Bees cream! The cream has excellent natural ingredients which are so necessary for a sensitive skin:

Cotton Extract - to make the skin smooth and soft

Rice Extract - to moisturize

Aloe - to soothe

In Canada the Burt's Bees Sensitive Facial Cleanser costs $12.99 Cdn and the Sensitive Daily Moisturizer - $24.99 Cdn.

I have to tell you that I highly recommend both the cleanser and the cream especially to those people who have a sensitive skin. The price is very affordable and the effects of these products are excellent!

As I mentioned I also received samples of a Bust's Bees Moisturizing Cream to shere with my friends. I gave them to those of my friends who have very sensitive skin as I do. They used the cream and just loved that.

Indeed, both the cleanser and the cream work magic and really care about your sensitive skin!

The Baker's Wife

I was intrigued when I read the description of Baker's Wife by Erin Healy, "...Driving early one morning to the bakery, Audrey's car strikes something-or someone-at a fog-shrouded intersection. She finds a motor scooter belonging to a local teacher. Blood is everywhere, but there's no trace of a body.

Both the scooter and the blood belong to detective Jack Mansfield's wife, and he's certain that Audrey is behind Julie's disappearance..." (Amazon.com)

I thought that should be a good mystery book. But when I had a great opportunity to read it, no, that was not a simply good mystery story, that was something extraordinary, something different, with a simple but yet, so important message to tell, - you would solve the problem if you felt that, if you looked into that deeper and deeper, with all your mind and soul.

Audrey felt Jack's pain, what an immense sorrow - to lose the wife, but she also felt, and that feeling was mysterious, that something was not right, that Julie (or Juliet, as we would find out her real name from Diane, ex-con, and her former friend) was alive.

Indeed, Audrey was not a usual woman. And maybe that's why Jack had suspicions that Audrey had been involved in Julie's dissapearance?

But Audrey's extraordinary ability helped her very much. She not only found Julie, but also saved lives of her dear husband and son. Jack's immense despair forced him to promise Audrey that he would kill her husband and son if she didn't find Julie immediately.

And that led to culmination of Audrey's ability and solving the whole mystery of the story. Yes, eventually she found Julie, a woman, though having a husband, but feeling so lonely in this world.

I have to say that Baker's Wife was one of the best mystery I have ever read. Erin Healy transmitted the characters of the book with so great skill that they would play with your mind and lead to your own questions and answers.

The Seraph Seal by Leonard Sweet and Lori Wagner

According to the title of the book - The Seraph Seal, written by Leonard Sweet and Lori Wagner, we imagine a good fiction in style of modern best sellers. And indeed, it's a fiction compiling what mankind studies for centuries in the religious science.

Seraph Seal is “an epic tale of good and evil based on the four horsemen of the Apocalypse found in the book of Revelation.

Using the four horsemen of the Apocalypse to symbolize the four Gospels, four transcendentals, and four forces of the universe (air, water, earth, and fire), Sweet and Wagner weave a fast-paced, end-times tale of good vs. evil and the promise of a new dawn for humanity.

Set in 2048, when planet Earth is suffering from the damaging effects of years of misuse and abuse, cultural history professor Paul Binder receives a mysterious letter that leads him to examine a lost 2nd-century Diatessaron manuscript. Ancient prophecies, cryptic letters, and strange events set him on a course to uncover the missing clues that could lead humanity into a new age. Each character embodies elements of the four horsemen in a race to save the world from total destruction. Layered with forgotten symbolism from the ancient Jewish and Christian traditions, the book is a story in which the main characters journal serves as a guide to the reader in interpreting clues and understanding the conclusion”, - Amazon. ca (http://www.amazon.ca/Seraph-Seal-Leonard-Sweet/dp/0849920779)

The authors connected Ancient times with nearest future, bringing to never-ending discussions issues which are remained enigmas till the present times. I highly respect their study of Jewish and Christian traditions and history in order to fulfill this great effort of writing such a tremendous work of art. The book has 527 pages and every page, every paragraph, even every sentence makes us think about ourselves and our mission on the Earth.

But it is sad to mention that the book has some errors, particularly in describing the nations. The authors refer Iranian and Turkish nations as Arabs (p.156). Even about Syrians we cannot surely say that they are all Arabs as being a very ancient nation, Syrians have many ethnic nations. In my opinion, here would be more acceptable to refer Iranians and Turks as Muslims.

On the whole, though it is a huge book, but it is very easy to read. But I have to say that there are too many dialogues. Maybe that would be good for a screenplay for a movie, but as a book it is lack of vivid descriptions.

McCain Purely Potatoes

Have you tried them? They are already washed, peeled and cut for your convenience and time saving! Just put the bag in a microwave and steam! And you have mouth melting, delicous potatoes ready to eat. Or maybe you prefer mashing them and prepare your favourite dish? Go ahead! I just did the same.

I was one of lucky people who were selected to get them from BzzCampaign. As a BzzAgent I feel so great that I received so delicious product and can confidently share an excellent quality and taste of McCain Purely Potatoes with you.

I prepared our Saturday dinner (as usually we have Saturday dinner time at our house with the relatives and friends) with McCain Purely Potatoes. After steaming in microwave I mashed them and poured on the pan over the vegetables (a kind of Shepherd Pie with my own improvisation). That was so delicious! All of us liked that!

Try yourself and...yes, sure, feel free to ask about my imrpovisation of  Shepherd's Pie.
