Firmoo! Beauty and Style! Confirmed!

When I read about their great promotion for free glasses for bloggers for a review exchange, I was a little bit skeptical at first. I knew very little about Firmoo, never applied for the glasses from them, and so I didn't know anything about a quality of their glasses. Besides, I have sensitive eyes, and choosing the sunglasses which would be relaxing, not irritating for my eyes, is quite difficult, especially from a website, without trying on.

But nevertheless, my curiosity defeted my skeptical thoughts, and so I gave a try. I applied for Firmoo free glasses promotion, and was nicley surprised! Very soon surprised! My sunglasses arrived in 10 days from China (!) by registered mail. The packaging was just amazing, my glasses were "sitting" safely in the plastic case. Firmoo also provided me with a nice, black pouch and a small screwdriver with extra screws. So my first impression about Firmoo was very good!

And now the quality. So many times I saw sunglasses, which seem to be of a good quality from the first sight, but when you hold them, and try on, they are just flimsy. But I have to say, the quality of Firmoo sunglasses I received, in one word - perfect! The material of the sunglasses is very sturdy. I've been wearing them about a week since I received them, and they do protect my eyes from the sun, and my eyes feel so relaxing, no itchiness, no irritation, and no headaches!

Bravo Firmoo! You could assure me that ordering glasses from a website can be as trustful as ordering in person. Oh, and I also loved a great feature of Firmoo website - you can upload your picure and see if the glasses fit you right.

So am I skeptical now? Of course, not! And more than that. I recommended Firmoo to all my friends. And you can also try Firmoo glasses ... for free! Yes, for free, even if you are not a blogger. Here is their website.

http://www.firmoo.com/

And from here you can apply for free glasses if you have a blog. The promotion is still on, so hurry up, that's indeed a great opportunity!

Burt's Bees Cares About Our Sensitive Skin

Having a very sensitive skin I was very excited when I received Sensitive Facial Cleanser and Sensitive Daily Moisturizer from Burt's Bees and BzzAgent . I am BzzAgent Anayis and was selected and invited to participate in Burt's Bees Campaign.

So I received a package which contained a Burt's Bees Sensitive Facial Cleanser, a Burt's Bees Sensitive Daily Moisturizing Cream, 10 samples of the cream to share with my friends, and an official guide about Burt's Bees Campaign with information about Burt's Bees products.

I am using the cleanser and the cream daily and have to tell you that I totally love these products.

The Sensitive Facial Cleanser didn't irritate my facial skin at all, and didn't cause any redness (which sometimes some cleansers do to my face). I love natural ingredients of the cleanser:

Cotton Extact - for smooth and soft skin

Quillaja - provides a natural foaming lather

Yucca - a desert plant high in saponins, which have traditionally been used in cleansing

The cleanser cleans my face very gently leaving that not dry my very soft and smooth.

I use the Sensitive Daily Moisturizer either alone or under make up. I can't say that the texture is light but it is definitely not heavy (even for sensitive and dry skin I don't like those heavy creams). The cream absorbs into my skin quite quickly and moisturizes my skin so well. It also does not have fragrance (very good feature, especially for a sensitive skin:). And it does not clog pores: I have some pores on my face and totally love that feature of Burt's Bees cream! The cream has excellent natural ingredients which are so necessary for a sensitive skin:

Cotton Extract - to make the skin smooth and soft

Rice Extract - to moisturize

Aloe - to soothe

In Canada the Burt's Bees Sensitive Facial Cleanser costs $12.99 Cdn and the Sensitive Daily Moisturizer - $24.99 Cdn.

I have to tell you that I highly recommend both the cleanser and the cream especially to those people who have a sensitive skin. The price is very affordable and the effects of these products are excellent!

As I mentioned I also received samples of a Bust's Bees Moisturizing Cream to shere with my friends. I gave them to those of my friends who have very sensitive skin as I do. They used the cream and just loved that.

Indeed, both the cleanser and the cream work magic and really care about your sensitive skin!

The Baker's Wife

I was intrigued when I read the description of Baker's Wife by Erin Healy, "...Driving early one morning to the bakery, Audrey's car strikes something-or someone-at a fog-shrouded intersection. She finds a motor scooter belonging to a local teacher. Blood is everywhere, but there's no trace of a body.

Both the scooter and the blood belong to detective Jack Mansfield's wife, and he's certain that Audrey is behind Julie's disappearance..." (Amazon.com)

I thought that should be a good mystery book. But when I had a great opportunity to read it, no, that was not a simply good mystery story, that was something extraordinary, something different, with a simple but yet, so important message to tell, - you would solve the problem if you felt that, if you looked into that deeper and deeper, with all your mind and soul.

Audrey felt Jack's pain, what an immense sorrow - to lose the wife, but she also felt, and that feeling was mysterious, that something was not right, that Julie (or Juliet, as we would find out her real name from Diane, ex-con, and her former friend) was alive.

Indeed, Audrey was not a usual woman. And maybe that's why Jack had suspicions that Audrey had been involved in Julie's dissapearance?

But Audrey's extraordinary ability helped her very much. She not only found Julie, but also saved lives of her dear husband and son. Jack's immense despair forced him to promise Audrey that he would kill her husband and son if she didn't find Julie immediately.

And that led to culmination of Audrey's ability and solving the whole mystery of the story. Yes, eventually she found Julie, a woman, though having a husband, but feeling so lonely in this world.

I have to say that Baker's Wife was one of the best mystery I have ever read. Erin Healy transmitted the characters of the book with so great skill that they would play with your mind and lead to your own questions and answers.

The Seraph Seal by Leonard Sweet and Lori Wagner

According to the title of the book - The Seraph Seal, written by Leonard Sweet and Lori Wagner, we imagine a good fiction in style of modern best sellers. And indeed, it's a fiction compiling what mankind studies for centuries in the religious science.

Seraph Seal is “an epic tale of good and evil based on the four horsemen of the Apocalypse found in the book of Revelation.

Using the four horsemen of the Apocalypse to symbolize the four Gospels, four transcendentals, and four forces of the universe (air, water, earth, and fire), Sweet and Wagner weave a fast-paced, end-times tale of good vs. evil and the promise of a new dawn for humanity.

Set in 2048, when planet Earth is suffering from the damaging effects of years of misuse and abuse, cultural history professor Paul Binder receives a mysterious letter that leads him to examine a lost 2nd-century Diatessaron manuscript. Ancient prophecies, cryptic letters, and strange events set him on a course to uncover the missing clues that could lead humanity into a new age. Each character embodies elements of the four horsemen in a race to save the world from total destruction. Layered with forgotten symbolism from the ancient Jewish and Christian traditions, the book is a story in which the main characters journal serves as a guide to the reader in interpreting clues and understanding the conclusion”, - Amazon. ca (http://www.amazon.ca/Seraph-Seal-Leonard-Sweet/dp/0849920779)

The authors connected Ancient times with nearest future, bringing to never-ending discussions issues which are remained enigmas till the present times. I highly respect their study of Jewish and Christian traditions and history in order to fulfill this great effort of writing such a tremendous work of art. The book has 527 pages and every page, every paragraph, even every sentence makes us think about ourselves and our mission on the Earth.

But it is sad to mention that the book has some errors, particularly in describing the nations. The authors refer Iranian and Turkish nations as Arabs (p.156). Even about Syrians we cannot surely say that they are all Arabs as being a very ancient nation, Syrians have many ethnic nations. In my opinion, here would be more acceptable to refer Iranians and Turks as Muslims.

On the whole, though it is a huge book, but it is very easy to read. But I have to say that there are too many dialogues. Maybe that would be good for a screenplay for a movie, but as a book it is lack of vivid descriptions.
